PHASE I:
- Survey children, parents & teachers to identify levels of bullying at school.
- Train teachers and all staff to recognize bullying behaviors and the
dynamics of bullying.
- Train all in strategies to use with bullies, victims, and bystanders.
- Plan implementation of program for school community.
- Incorporate language in school discipline plan regarding consequences
for bullying behaviors.
PHASE II:
- Train parents to recognize bullying behaviors.
- Provide parents with tools and strategies to guide their children who are
bullies, victims or bystanders.
- Plan school-wide implementation for training students as well as rewarding
caring behaviors.
- Plan for ongoing training and review of progress and roadblocks to
success.
