About Tricia Peterson

I have taught the 'Bully-Proofing Your School' program (www.bullyproofing.org)
in the classroom for five years for Kindergarten through 8th grade students.  To
date, I have implemented this program at St. Catherine School in Morgan Hill,
Sacred Heart School in Saratoga, and I have trained the staff and teachers at
Almond Elementary in Los Altos to implement the program and train the
students.  I have seen children in all grades use the skills practiced to
effectively stand up to bullying and actually stop this behavior.

I am also a trainer/consultant for Bully Busters (www.bullysafeschools.com), and
have trained two schools in the implementation of this program to date.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I offer counseling services
to individuals and families who are experiencing problems related to bullying in
addition to my regular counseling services (see www.triciapeterson.com for
counseling services).  I have worked in both public and private schools for the
past 10 years and understand the challenges and pathways to cultivating
change in the school setting.
